Maine Fishermen’s Forum 2027 Seminar Request for Proposals

The Maine Fishermen’s Forum is accepting proposals through November 27th, 2026, for educational seminars held over the three days of the Forum at the Samoset Resort from March 4-6, 2027.

How To Apply

  1. RFP’s are completed on an external forms website named jotform.com, which is similar to Google or Microsoft forms.  The application is nearly identical to last year’s, with 5 sections collecting various pieces of information about your seminar.  It can be completed on desktop or mobile devices.
  2. Questions with a red asterisk * are required upon initial submission.  However, an application can be started and saved before submitting even if some required fields are blank.
  3. We anticipate you may not know the answers to some questions (such as names of seminar panelists) upon first submission, so many fields are optional.
  4. You can save your application to further develop later (more on this below).  Generally, the more information you are able to provide by the November 27 deadline the better the Forum is able to evaluate the RFP.  RFP’s will be checked as they are submitted, but the final proposal can be modified right up to the deadline.
  5. At the bottom of the application you will have options to ‘Save’ and ‘Submit.’
    1. If ‘Save,’ you will be prompted to enter an email address, then you’ll receive a link to edit the RFP later.  The email address does not have to match any of the addresses provided in the RFP.
    2. If “Submit,” the form will first check and prompt for any missing required fields.  You’ll then land on a splash page with a link to ‘Edit RFP,’  and get an email confirmation.  Bookmark that link for RFP changes.
