This lively reception features a gorgeous bounty of Maine’s finest seafood donated by fishermen and organizations across Maine, all prepared by the the chefs of the Samoset Resort. Buy your tickets early to attend this wonderful feast, connect with the fishing community, and most importantly, don’t forget to scope out and bid on our silent auction taking place alongside the reception — proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.

Friday Live Auction for the Student Scholarship Fund

Following dinner on Friday, we open the banquet rooms to the public for our lively auction. This year we’ll bring back Marci Train, our live auctioneer who takes your bids on gear and items you use all year round. All funds our auctions generate go to students of fishing families pursuing a postsecondary education.
Saturday Banquet, Forum Wrap-up, and Dance Party

A banquet dinner will be served at our Forum wrap-up event. Recognition will be given for outstanding service and generous donations. Dinner and award presentations will be followed by musical entertainment by the band Turd Pollack of Chebeague Island, and an invitation to join us on the dance floor. Purchase your tickets to attend and close out the Forum in style.
