2024 Seminar Request for Proposals are Open

The mission of the Maine Fishermen’s Forum is to provide opportunities on a continuous basis to educate the public and the fishing industry about fisheries and marine resource issues, and to provide a neutral platform for constructive discussion and decision making. Each year the Forum provides three days of free seminars for fishermen covering a wide range of topics such as the health of the lobster resource, commercial fishing safety, upcoming regulatory actions, and much more.

Proposals for seminars may be submitted through December 1, 2023, with final presenter and topic descriptors finalized by January 15, 2024.

A complete schedule of seminars, presenters, and topic descriptions will be posted in February.
